About Brookhaven
Brookhaven National Laboratory is a U.S. Department of Energy lab based on Long Island, NY. The lab has a permanent staff of over 3,000 scientists and technicians. A total of six Nobel prizes have been awarded for discoveries made at the lab. One of the six major programs at Brookhaven is Environmental and Energy Research; the other five are uclear and High Energy Physics, Physics and Chemistry of Materials, Nonproliferation, Neuroscience, and Structural Biology. This is one of the pre-eminent research facilities in the country.
Brookhaven Laboratory, with a grant from NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) oversaw and audited extensive testing of the Fuel Economizer. Brookhaven confirmed the efficacy of the Fuel Economizer. In addition, the testing proved an additional benefit of a significant reduction (over 40%) of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and fine particulates in oil burning installations.
