Strolling of the Heifers

Rauw Energy is traveling to Brattleboro, VT on June 6, 2009 to take part in the Green Expo section of the “Strolling of the Heifers” event. Strolling of the Heifers is an annual event created to increase the public's awareness of how family farms contribute to the local community, Vermont's agricultural landscape and heritage. Strolling of the Heifers is also a non-profit organization that provides many services including funding micro loans to farmers to help them stay on their farms and working with at-risk youth by introducing them to farms and farming.
