Right on schedule and as if by cue, the weather has changed from hot and steamy to cool and breezy. We woke up to temperatures in New York at 50 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. Vermont was 43 degrees this a.m. Daily high temperatures in the Northeast aren't reaching much beyond the high 70s for the foreseeable future. Children are waiting at bus stops all over the place. Summer is definitely over.
