Rauw Energy is Going Commercial
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, “Currently, commercial buildings account for 18 percent of the nation's energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.” In order to help building owners and operators become more efficient, the Department of Energy formed the Commercial Real Estate Energy Alliance (CREEA), “CREEA links building owners and operators with applicable research and technologies being developed at DOE's National Laboratories.”
One of the technologies audited by a DOE national laboratory, Brookhaven National Laboratory, is the Fuel Economizer. You can read the Brookhaven report in its entirety on our site.
Brookhaven Labs confirmed, the Intellidyne-Intellicon Fuel Economizer saves energy, and reduces significant levels of pollutants. Not only is the resultant money savings a positive outcome for building owners and operators who need to be budget sensitive, pollutant reductions of CO2, fine particulates and *** have a positive impact on human health and the health of the environment.
Just ask Mike Bloomberg. New York City schools are currently installing 1200 Fuel Economizers on building boilers. This decision was made after a study-installation of 12 units on school boilers in high asthma areas of NYC.
Just ask Long Island school districts. Sixty-five percent of all school buildings on Long Island have installed the Fuel Economizer with significant fuel reductions, most in excess of the guaranteed 10%.
Rauw Energy is excited to offer the Fuel Economizer to the commercial sector. Visit us on November 15, 2009 at the Council of New York Cooperatives & Condominiums' Housing Conference, Baruch College, Newman Vertical Campus at 55 Lexington Avenue (corner of East 24th Street) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
