What is the Fuel Economizer?
The Fuel Economizer is a microprocessor-controlled device that gets installed onto your existing boiler and efficiently regulates the burn cycles. This results in significant fuel savings.
What does the Fuel Economizer cost?
The price is between $5,000 and $7,000 per boiler, including installation, depending on system size. Payback is rapid, frequently less than one year and almost always in less than two years. For example, if a building consumes $70,000 of fuel per year, the guaranteed savings would result in $7,000 saved which is a one year payback. Actual savings are generally greater than the 10% guarantee.
How do I find out what my cost would be?
Call or contact us to arrange a consultation with you and/or your building manager. We can also prepare a preliminary quote over the telephone based on information provided by you or your building manager.
What are the savings?
The savings are generally between 12% and 18% or more of fuel consumed. A 10% savings is guaranteed.
Are the savings guaranteed?
Yes. A 10% fuel savings is guaranteed, measured over the course of 12 consecutive months. If 10% savings are not attained, we will remove the unit and return your money - no questions asked.
Is the Fuel Economizer warranted?
Yes. The unit is warranted for 15 years against manufacturer defects.
Does the Fuel Economizer require maintenance?
No. Once it is installed it goes to work. There is no calibration, adjustment, cleaning, etc. required by us or your building's maintenance provider.
Is it a proven technology?
Yes. Intellidyne LLC (the manufacturer) and its representatives (including Rauw Energy LLC) have installed thousands of units over the past ten years. The savings have been proven in the field and validated by some of the most respected laboratories in the country.
Is it Patented?
Yes. The Fuel Economizer is patent protected under Patents 5775582 and 5971284.
Is the Fuel Economizer different from my Heat Timer?
Yes. The Fuel Economizer changes the operating range in your boiler based on the current heating needs of your building. The Heat Timer does not.
Will the Fuel Economizer work with my Heat Timer?
Yes. The Fuel Economizer is installed in series with the Heat Timer and works with Heat Timer. For additional information download the white paper on how the Fuel Economizer works with Heat Timer.
